Mr. Larry Marks
Mr. Marks spent 30-plus years as an educator, both as a teacher and as an administrator. Prior to officially retiring, he served Spotsylvania County Public Schools as a high school principal for six years. Since then, Mr. Marks has fullfilled the role of interim principal for Huguenot High School for school year 2015-2016, and is now the acting interim principal for the Richmond Technical Center. His personal mission statement is: "In my present position as principal, my priorities are to ensure that all students receive a quality education in a safe environment and learn to function in our global, technology-based society."
Mr. Marks acquired his academic credentials from Virginia State University (Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Driver Education, and a Master's Degree in Education specializing in Administration and Supervision), before going on to earn an Educational Specialist Degree (ED. S.) in Instructional and Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Students and staff alike have enjoyed Mr. Marks' style of management and look forward to his continuing leadership.
