Principal's Message

  • Principal Murray Jayem Family,

It's time to look forward to the next school year!  It's course selection time! Look for a huge mailing coming home soon to walk you through how you will select your courses for next year!

We are also preparing for the end of another marking period.  MP3 will end on April 16, 2021.  That's the week we return from spring break! Students, I suggest you get all assignments turned in before we leave for spring break!

As we look forward to the end of this school year, here are more resources:

    • Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just need someone to talk to?  We understand these are difficult times.  If you need help please do not hesitate to reach out.  We have partnered with Cigna for a school support line.  We're here to listen! This line is currently being piloted at our 5 comprehensive high schools for staff, students and families.  Cigna is sponsoring this service to our community at no cost to our families or staff.  Please note:  The number is 833-632-4462 (833-MeCigna) and available 24/7/365.

    • Seniors - Class of 2021:  Have you ordered your Cap & Gown? Graduation will be coming soon!  We want you prepared! Senior Dues:  Don't miss out! This is not an option!! You want it all!! Total Due: $140.00. Financial Assistance is available if needed:  email Mr. Freeman

Make sure you're following me on Instagram for more updates:  @JMPrincipal

We will continue to Exceed Expectations with Excellence! I love you and there is nothing you can do about it!

  • RPS Direct Update (PM) - April 15, 2021

Dear #RPSStrong Family, In honor of National Library Month, tonight I'm spotlighting the hottest ride in town – the RPS Lit Limo! Check out the schedule below and mark your calendars for a visit. Put the Chromebooks down, stretch your legs, and pick up an actual, physical book to take home. And if you'd like to donate books to the Lit Limo, please reach out to our amazing head of library services, Judy Deichman, at And just remember: Dinosaurs didn't read; now they're extinct. With great appreciation, Jason
