    Greetings Oak Grove Bellemeade Elementary Families 

    This is Principal Gordon 

    We hope you are doing well. 

    We'd like to continue to encourage you to sign up for the free tutoring that RPS is offering! Also, the following information is important for parents who have students currently in 3rd through 5th grade in regards to the Spring 2021 SOL tests. Below is a link to a survey that will serve as a means to indicate your intent in your child's participation in upcoming state-wide assessments. We will be contacting each parent individually after Spring Break. 

    Spring 2021 In-Person Testing Intent Form-Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessments are approaching and we want families to understand their options when it comes to testing. To review options and let us know of your intentions for the Spring SOL Assessments, please click here https://survey.k12insight.com/Survey1.aspx?k=SsRPPWTsYPsPsQsP&lang=0 and complete the survey by April 17, 2021.

    A continuacion se muestra un enlace a una encuesta que servira como un medio para indicar su intencion en la participacion de su hijo en las proximas evaluaciones estatales. Nos comunicaremos con cada padre individualmente despues de las vacciones de primavera.

    Correction* Another fabulous graduation is in the books – congratulations to the Armstrong HS Class of 2021! Many thanks to Principal Bell and his team for running a beautiful ceremony this morning (before the rain :). We'll be closing things out tomorrow with George Wythe, Franklin Military Academy*, Richmond Community, and Thomas Jefferson. See you there!   • RPS Direct Update - June 21, 2021

    Dear #RPSStrong Family, My apologies for coming to you later than usual tonight – we just wrapped up John Marshall's graduation ceremony at The Diamond! That was our third one of the day: this morning was Huguenot HS and this afternoon was Open HS. All three were all absolutely fantastic (see below for some pix of our valedictorians). Big shout out to Principal Gilstrap, Principal Carleton, Principal Murray, and our Chief Schools Officer, Harry Hughes, for planning and executing beautiful ceremonies! And, of course, congratulations to our amazing, pandemic-defying graduates.
