The Richmond Public School Board announced at the conclusion of the June 5, 2017 school board meeting the appointment of Thomas Kranz as the interim superintendent effective July 1, 2017.
Richmond Community High School has been ranked number two and Franklin Military School earned the number 22 spot on the 2017 “100 Best w!se High Schools Teaching Personal Finance” national ranking. The rankings were released by Working in Support of Education (w!se), a NYC-based educational not-for-profit focused on promoting student financial literacy nationwide, and sponsored by Voya Financial®.
Teresa graduates Armstrong High School with a 3.63 GPA. She has earned honors in the Mayor’s Youth Academy, Skills USA competitions, Future Business Leaders of America and she was awarded second place winner in the City Wide National Crime Victim’s Rights Week Contest. Teresa was a member of many organizations during high school including the Teen Pride organization as well as the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. She will attend Shenandoah University in the fall, located in Winchester, Virginia, majoring in Pre-Med Biology with $30,000 in scholarships and grants.
