Principal's Message

  • To the Wildcat Family

    To the Wildcat Family

I want to take this opportunity to welcome our students and staff back to “The Strong” for another wonderful school year. We are so proud of our students accomplishments this past school year and look forward to many more accomplishments and accolades. To name a few: Accredited with Conditions, 36 Top Scholars with 8 million dollars in scholarship money, one student with 1 million dollars in scholarship money, one student receiving an Associate’s Degree (first at Armstrong), and four State Championships in Track & Field.
Our goal is to ensure that every child is happy and successful at Armstrong where we believe that all stakeholders play a key role in the success of children. We want to encourage our community and parents to continue to support our students, teaching students that education is the avenue for unlocking their dreams. The child who knows that his/her school family is interested and supports the school programs will almost always have fewer problems in school and will enjoy greater success.
The lines of communication remain open and we are readily available for assistance to ensure optimum success for students. The Armstrong culture and climate improves daily where we continuously echo the pursuit for greatness which involves sincere effort, a humble heart, and the desire to improve others which can raise the station of an ordinary individual into one of extraordinary achievement.
Again, we welcome you to the 2018-2019 academic year of Armstrong High School where, “Greatness is the Rightful Destiny of Every Person.”
Dr. Willie J. Bell, Jr., Principal
