    The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).     The Roothbert Fund- Scholarships Program

    The Roothbert Fund was created in 1958 by Albert and Toni Roothbert to help men and women in need of financial aid to further their education. The principal focus of The Fund is its Scholarships Program, through which it makes grants for undergraduate or graduate study at accredited colleges or universities. Scholarships may only be applied to study at an accredited institution based in the United States.     John L. Carey Accounting Scholarship

    The John L. Carey Scholarship provides financial assistance to liberal arts and non-business degree holders who are pursuing both graduate studies in accounting and the CPA licensure. This award is funded by the AICPA Foundation and is intended to encourage students with little or no previous accounting education to consider professional accounting careers.

    Microsoft awards tuition scholarships and conference scholarships each year to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines.     Herbert Lehman Education Fund

    The Herbert Lehman Scholarship is a national, highly competitive scholarship program that makes annual awards to qualified, outstanding undergraduate students. The scholarship was established in 1964 and is named after the former Governor and United States Senator from New York State. LDF chose to honor Senator Lehman in recognition of his integrity, persistence, and valor on behalf of numerous civil rights causes.


    Congressional Black Caucus Foundation

    Recipients demonstrate leadership ability through exemplary community service and academic talent, while other received need-based scholarships to reward their persistence in pursuing a quality education.

    NAACP Legal Defense Fund’s Scholarship Program

    Lehman Education Fund (LDF) created the Herbert Lehman Education Fund(the “Lehman Fund”) and the Legal Internship and Fellowship Program (the “Fellowship Program”) in 1964 to provide financial assistance to those who had been denied access to higher education for generations.  Eight years later, LDF incorporated the Earl Warren Legal Training Program(the “Warren Program”) to cultivate future generations of attorneys dedicated to civil rights and public interest work. 


    National Association of Black Journalists

    NABJ awards scholarships annually to deserving students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Scholarships are worth up to $3,000. 

    National Black Police Association

    The National Black Police Association is seeking to enhance higher education opportunities among qualified graduates. It is our desire that through this financial award a student (male or female) might be afforded the opportunity to have higher educational training in the academics of law enforcement, or other related areas, for the betterment of the Criminal Justice system.
