Volunteer Overview

  • Volunteer at our school!

Whether you are a parent or relative of a student, a former student, corporate partner, or any other member of our community, we appreciate your interest in serving our students and our school, and we welcome you!

In Richmond Public Schools there are many types of volunteer opportunities: single day project helpers, regular tutors, office helpers, guest speakers, cafeteria monitors, and many more.   Please contact your school’s Volunteer Coordinator to help find out about opportunities that fit your volunteer goals and the procedures for becoming a volunteer.  If you already know what you want to do, the school’s Volunteer Coordinator will help you with the application process and training that may be required.  Call or email your school’s Volunteer Coordinator with any questions or to make an appointment.

Additional information on volunteering in Richmond Public Schools, as well as links to district-wide volunteer opportunities, can be found at the Richmond Public Schools Community Partnerships Volunteer page.
