Mrs. Kesler-Belcher started her educational journey in Richmond Public Schools as a kindergarten student at J.L. Frances Elementary School.  She then matriculated through Chesterfield Public Schools where she completed her public school education and graduated from Monacan High School. She then attended the University of Richmond for her undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, NK-4. After graduating from the University of Richmond, Mrs. Kesler-Belcher immediately began her teaching career in Powhatan County where she taught kindergarten for eleven years. During her tenure in Powhatan, she began her post-graduate studies and in 1996 graduated from Longwood University with a Master of Science in Supervision with a Concentration in Administration K-12.

Education has been a priority and an expectation as she and her husband raised their four children.  All went on to attend her alma mater, University of Richmond, and have pursued careers respectively as a physician, teacher, business manager, and writer.  Mrs. Kesler-Belcher regularly enjoys spending time with her family for meals, games, and outings together.
