Congratulations to the new Richmond Public Schools National Board Certified Teachers!
During a pinning ceremony on Thursday, January 11, the following RPS teachers were recognized for completing the extensive program:
- Tiffany R. Floyd of Blackwell Elementary School
- Sarah E. Warner of Ginter Park Elementary School
- Melanie Agee-Wade of Miles Jones Elementary School
Approximately three percent of all teachers nationwide have secured this prestigious honor, the profession’s highest mark of achievement. Demonstrating their aptitude to earn the recognition is a rigorous, performance-based, peer-review process, requiring candidates to prove their impact on student learning and achievement– and making them stronger educators in the process.
