Ms. Nichele Ford
It is my honor to serve as the Assistant Principal at George Mason - where I attended school as a child. This is one of the most exciting and yet an humbling experience for me. I only have fond memories of my time spent here in my youth. Therefore, I am committed to creating an atmosphere of loving and learning for the students of George Mason. As a proud product of Richmond Public Schools and as a part of the administrative team, I will work and lead diligently to be the change I wish to see in the Mason Community.
Having attended RPS as a student - GH Reid ES, George Mason ES, Thomas H Henderson MS, and Jefferson-Huguenot-Wythe HS Complexes, I have a passion that motivates me work to improve and to sustain exceptional branding of RPS as well as Henry Marsh. In addition, I received my undergraduate degree at Elizabeth City State University, in Business Administration; a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Virginia State University, and a Post Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from The George Washington University.
Moreover, high academic achievement and a safe and nurturing environment are top priorities as we embark on yet another exciting school year. Additionally, I take pride in providing excellent customer service by exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers. Everyone going above and beyond of what is required will help us to meet RPS #1 goal of student achievement. Therefore, please do not hesitate to call upon me to assist you at any time.
My mantra is “Never be fearful about what you are doing when it’s right”—Rosa Parks, I plan to exemplify these words as I serve the students and their families of Henry Marsh.
