Superintendent's School Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC)

The Superintendent’s School Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC) consists principals who are appointed for a one-year term and acts as an advisory committee to the superintendent on a host of issues, with the intent of helping to foster a nurturing learning environment for all students and a positive working environment for all staff members.
Cabinet members will have the opportunity to meet on a monthly basis with the Superintendent to provide direct, honest input in the development of best practices, policies, and programs related to leading the future of RPS.
Cabinet members will:
- Actively participate in monthly meetings with the Superintendent
- Share input on upcoming policy decisions
- Discuss perspectives from school leadership
- Build relationships with principals from across the school district
Application and selection process:
Principals can submit interest via an online application that has been shared internally. Applications are closed and selected principals will be notified directly.
