Superintendent's Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
The Superintendent wants to engage parents as true partners in the educational process. Parents play an important and integral role in promoting the social, emotional and academic success of all students. We invite all active RPS parents to apply to serve as a member of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) as we work to build a strong community-parent-school partnership.

Superintendent's School Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC)
The Superintendent's School Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC) consists of principals who are appointed for a one-year term and acts as an advisory committee to the superintendent on a host of issues with the intent of helping to foster a nurturing learning environment for all students and a positive working environment for all staff members.
Principals can submit interest via an online application that has been shared internally. Applications have closed.
Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SAC)
Student voices are valuable and important to the future of Richmond Public Schools. The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SAC) consists of 25 students in grades 9 - 11, representing all high schools across the district that meet monthly with the superintendent to offer input, advice, suggestions, and guidance on issues that are important to students.
SAC members are selected to participate by school leadership.
Teacher Advisory Council (TAC)
The Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) an opportunity for teachers to be actively involved in shaping the future of RPS. The cabinet will consist of twenty-five members who are appointed for a one-year term (to continue through next school year) and will act as an advisory committee to the superintendent on a host of issues, with the intent of helping to cultivate a safe, nurturing teaching and learning environment for all students.
