Mrs. Tashiana Ivy
Tashiana Ivy has spent her career dedicated to ensuring students in urban environments have high-quality educational experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Prior to being selected as the new principal of Albert Hill Middle School, Mrs. Ivy served as an assistant principal at Martin Luther King Jr., Middle School, directly supporting teachers in educating the whole child and equipping students for success. Before her role as an assistant principal, Mrs. Ivy served for eleven years as a middle and high school Science and Math teacher in Richmond Public Schools. Mrs. Ivy earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.
