Happy New Year Fox Family!
From the bottom of my heart, I hope that each and every one of you had a healthy and safe holiday season. I am so thankful for the break and the time that I was able to spend with my immediate family, unplugged, and just being together. This Hanukkah and Christmas were different than they have ever been for our family (as I am sure they were for you as well), no parties, no gathering with extended family; but upon reflection, I will cherish the time I had with my two sons and husband!
Now it is time to get back into the routines of school for our kiddos! Even though I cannot hug and ‘high-five’ everyone, I am looking forward to seeing all of your faces tomorrow, Monday, January 4, 2021!!! So, find and gather your school materials (EL and Math books, paper/pencils etc.) put your headphones with your computer, charge your Chromebook, make your lunch/snacks, go to bed early so you can be ready for morning announcements at 9:05 am Monday morning!

RPS Direct Update - January 27 (PM), 2021
Dear #RPSStrong Family, I want to extend a huge thank you to my guests on RPS Live! tonight: Principal Anderson (Blackwell ES), Principal Powell (Cary ES), Principal Hartsfield (MLK PS), Principal London (Henderson MS), and Principal Murray (Marshall HS). If you missed it, I strongly encourage you to catch the video on the RPS Facebook page. It's like watching a TED talk on leadership - but even better. Please join me in expressing our profound gratitude to these extraordinary leaders, and the many others in RPS they represent! As you might recall, in December we celebrated Inclusive Schools Week and we asked our students to submit a t-shirt design to promote inclusion. I'm thrilled to announce the winner: Bella Brownlee, a 4th grade student at Linwood Holton Elementary School!
