RPS High School Summer School

 

2026 High School Summer School

Summer school is free and for RPS students only. Transportation will be provided to RPS students. All high school students should check with their home school counselor to sign up for the correct class this summer.

High school summer fast facts and registration information (Updated 4/13/26)

 

Dates: 

June 8, 2026 - July 16, 2026 (no classes on June 18, July 2), Monday-Thursday

Locations:

Huguenot High School and Richmond Technical Center

Time:

Session A from 8:15a.m. - 11:45a.m.

Session B from 12:15p.m. - 3:45p.m.

*Students may take one course per session

High School Credit Recovery (students should sign up with their school counselor)

If your high school student did not pass a course during the regular school year, they can retake it through our Credit Recovery program.

• Dates: June 8 – June 25

• Attendance Requirement: Students must attend classes in person.

• Course Limits: Students may take a maximum of two courses.

• Scheduling Note: If your student only needs to recover one course, please sign up for Session A.

High School SOL Remediation (students should sign up with their school counselor)

If your high school student passed their class but did not pass the End of Course SOL test, they are eligible to attend our SOL Remediation program.

• Dates: June 29 – July 16

• Attendance Requirement: Students must attend classes in person.

• Course Limits: Students may take a maximum of two subjects.

• Scheduling Note: If your student only needs to take one remediation class, please sign up for Session A.
