Troubleshooting with Students
How can I help my students troubleshoot their technology issues?
If your students are experiencing technical issues on their RPS Chromebooks, there are several layers of support available.
For password resets and other technical support, the first layer of support is the classroom teacher. Any teacher who has the student on their roster can reset their password in RapidIdentity.
For additional support, teachers can reach out to their school's Media Specialist or ITRT.
RPS students and families are also encouraged to email the Student Help Desk at helpdesk@rvaschools.net.
Teachers may also wish to use the Help Desk Frequently Asked Questions document to help troubleshoot their students' devices. If these fixes do not work, please reach out to Help Desk or check the latest Mobile Help Desk times and locations.
