ISAEP
Program Description
The ISAEP (Individual Student Alternative Education Plan) is designed for high school students who are at least 16 years old and are experiencing difficulty finding success in a traditional classroom environment. The program prepares students to earn a GED®, while also developing career and technical skills. Career and technical training helps ensure that students exit the program with the skills necessary to find employment and transition to postsecondary education or workforce training. All students must complete Economics and Personal Finance coursework.

Profile of a ISAEP student: |
- is currently enrolled in a RPS high school
- is at least 16 years of age
- is at risk of dropping out of school
- is over-age and under-credit
- meets the ISAEP academic entrance requirements
A student is eligible for enrollment in ISAEP if the student: |
- reading level 7.5 or higher
- score 125 or higher on 4 GED practice tests
