Payment Information

  • The prices of classes are subject to change. Please consult the individual course description for the cost of each class. Payment is due at the time of registration. All fees are due prior to or by the end of the first week of class. Accepted forms of payment are: DEBIT/CREDIT CARD, CASHIER'S CHECK, COMPANY CHECK, MONEY ORDER. A debit/credit card payment can be made through SchoolPay (click on SchoolPay link).

Refund Policy

  • If a class is cancelled by the administration, tuition is refunded. If payment was made via credit/debit card, upon approval, the refund should occur within 24-72 hours. For payments made via money order, please allow two (2) weeks to process a refund after completion of a Request for Tuition Refund Form through the RATC Office. After the 5th day of attendance, there will be NO REFUND of class payments. EXCEPTIONS will be determined on an individual basis.

    We thank you for your sponsorship and support, and as always, look forward to working with you and your employees/participants.

    A company sponsor MUST register their employees/participants. To register your employees/participants for Richmond Adult Technical Center, please follow the guidelines below.

    Check www.rvaschools.net/RATC for Online Registration dates.

    Register Employees/Participants at the website (include completion of Company Sponsored Section), pay with credit card.

     OR

     A Letter of Intent: 

    1. Must be on Company Letterhead
    2. Contain a statement about "responsibility for payment"
    3. State employee/participant name(s), course, preferred days (M/W or T/Th) and instructor’s name (if known) 
    4. Complete a Student Information Form
    5. E-mail tstrayho@rvaschools.net or fax 804-780-6040 the Letter of Intent and Student Information Form.

     

    Payments can be made by company check, cashier’s check, or money order to Richmond Public Schools (RPS), to be invoiced, or a credit card payment can be made through our website at www.rvaschools.net/RATC.
