Guidance and Resources for Learning at Home During School Closure
To ensure students can continue learning during school closures, we are providing the following guidance as a support and recommendation to families. Our hope is that every student dedicates time each day to continuing their learning as best as each individual family circumstance allows. The following guidance is intended as a resource and suggestion only, not a requirement. Most importantly, we encourage every family to take whatever steps are needed to stay healthy.
In general, we recommend that all students, regardless of grade level, dedicate at least three hours each day to core academic subjects—especially reading and mathematics, and more if possible. In addition to academics, we encourage families to consider daily physical activity, creative pursuits and placing reasonable limits on non-educational screen time.
