Mrs. Teya Green
Mrs. Teya Green has completed fifteen years in education, the past four as the Principal of Broad Rock Elementary. Prior to becoming the Principal, Mrs. Green served in a variety of positions at Broad Rock including Assistant Principal, School Counselor, Special Education Designee, Testing Coordinator, and Summer School Teacher.
Mr. Green received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University, a Master’s in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a post Master’s Certificate in Administration and Supervision from The George Washington University.
Mrs. Green views a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at Broad Rock Elementary.
During her free time, Mrs. Green enjoys Salsa dancing, monograming, and spending time with family.
