Alida Williamson Smith
Alida Williamson Smith has spent her career in education advocating boldly for the needs of students with disabilities and encouraging parents and colleagues to steadfastly hold high expectations for what all students can do. Previously, Alida served as assistant principal, district-level Instructional Specialist, and exceptional education teacher. Alida earned her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Bluefield College, holds a Master’s in Teaching from Mary Baldwin College, and earned Post-Master Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from the George Washington University. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
