About the Media Center
The Bellevue Media Center is the hub of the school. All classes visit the library once a week to experience a library lesson and check out books. What is a library lesson? This could be any number of things!
A library lesson could consist of reading a fiction story, reading a non-fiction story, visiting web sites for research and practicing grade level specific skills, learning about science, social studies, and everything in between.
The library is an inviting space where all are welcome...and all are welcome to learn something new!
The mission of the Bellevue library is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.
