• Volunteering

Elizabeth D. Redd Elementary School, as well as many school systems throughout the world, is looking for dedicated volunteers.  The economy in our country is low, and the need for volunteers and resources increases yearly. There are tremendous opportunities available for volunteering in our school.  Whether you are a parent, grandparent, community member or a college student your talents and skills are needed.  Volunteering in Elizabeth D. Redd School has wonderful rewards.     We have discovered that the benefits are not only rewarding but valuable to everyone involved.  Some of the benefits are:

-School is provided with additional help without added costs.

-Volunteer is involved with youth and is afforded the opportunity to share new talents and make new friends.

    -Student(s) observes positive role models.

So please consider volunteering your special skill, trade, education and heart!

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Taluanda Brown of Communities in Schools at talaundabrown@cisofrichmond.org or call the school directly at (804) 780-5061.

Click Volunteer for a copy of the application that needs to be filled out. Contact Mrs. Brown when you have filled out the application because she needs your email address in order to complete the process.
