Culture, Climate and Student Services
We create safe and loving learning environments by empowering students to be successful through maximizing the strengths (or assets) of the whole child.
The mission of Richmond Public Schools' Department of Culture, Climate and Student Services is to work collaboratively with students, families and the community to support student success by identifying and addressing barriers to learning, promoting safe learning environments, increasing attendance, and encouraging overall student wellness.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month
As such, we will be encouraging schools to participate in various activities throughout the month to recognize the importance of adopting an anti-bullying mindset, teach students the importance of being an upstander vs. a bystander and create opportunities to demonstrate kindness in an effort to combat bullying behavior.
