Therapeutic Day Treatment Services

RPS x TDT

As established July 2017 and in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), Richmond Public Schools (RPS) has created an annual Memorandum of Understanding and contract process for all Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT) Providers to serve approved students in schools. Included in this packet is an agreement that needs to be filled out and support documentation must be provided for approval.

To expedite the process, all TDT providers are encouraged to scan all documents to ajones2@rvaschools.net. Applications will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis.

Richmond Public Schools
2025-2026 School Year

We are currently accepting applications for Therapeutic Day Treatment providers for the
2025-2026 school year.

The following providers have been approved to provide Therapeutic Day Treatment services during the 2025-2026 school year. These providers are permitted to service the schools for which they are individually licensed and are listed below:   

  • National Counseling Group
  • Richmond Behavioral Health Authority
  • Succor Behavioral Services
  • Virginia Counseling and Community Development
  • Wise Enterprise

** Student(s) must be enrolled & attending a Richmond Public School
