It is with great pleasure that I get to return to John Marshall High School as the incoming principal. I truly believe that it is an honor to become a part of the John Marshall family and community. I come to you with 23 years of experience as an educator; however I come from a family of educators, so I have been around this profession all of my life. I spent 18 years teaching science on both the middle and high school levels.
This summer, I plan to spend the majority of my time working with the administrative staff to ensure a smooth transition. I will reintroduce myself to our building, our community, and familiarize myself with the unique needs of our school.
Every student deserves a quality education and that only happens when the school and the families work together for the best interests of our children. With that in mind, I will be calling on all of our faculty, staff, and parents to work as a singular unit so we can best serve our children.
My main responsibility is to put our teachers in the best position to succeed, as they will, in turn, put our children in the best position to succeed. I look forward to meeting all of you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. Together we will Exceed Expectations with Excellence!
