We extend a warm “Welcome Back” to all of our returning pharaohs, and an equally warm welcome to our new pharaohs. School begins on September 3, 2019 and I am super excited to welcome everyone back for the new school year. It’s my first official year as the Principal of Richmond Community High School and I expect it will be nothing less than amazing for us all! I’m truly looking forward to working with each of you, taking flight and not looking back. Our theme for this year is: Committed to Excellence. This theme expresses our dedication to the long-term course of action of always looking at where we are as a school community and how we can strive to be a little better.
As the scholars return to our classrooms and hallways, enthusiastic to learn, some of the ways we will deliver on the theme are always thinking and planning ahead, listening and taking action, over communicating, focusing on our goals, displaying grit, and always maintaining a positive attitude. Also, in line with our theme, we will continue to uphold our rich traditions of challenging our scholars through a rigorous curriculum, productive partnerships with parents and the community, and collaborative conversations. I am fully committed to working tirelessly with all stakeholders to provide our students with an educational experience that will shape them into global citizens ready to embrace opportunities for continuous growth and leadership.
Please read carefully. By working together and communicating regularly, we can make your scholar’s transition and/or return smooth and exciting.
