Public Comment to the RPS School Board
RPS is committed to demonstrating and highlighting equity and ensuring a diversity of voices in all settings. We are continuing to hold virtual school board meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic and are accepting written public comments. You can check out the schedule here and watch these meetings live on our Facebook page.
Public comments:
- may address any matter that you feel important to share with the School Board, RPS Administration, and the public. Comments may be about a specific School Board meeting agenda item, a program or staff member that you want to publicly thank, and/or as a way to advocate for a program or topic that you want to see addressed.
- that promote discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability; include profanity or vulgar language; campaign for public office; or promote private business ventures are prohibited.
- will be accepted in the form of email sent to speakers@rvaschools.net by 1:00 PM on the day of meetings.
