The Visual Arts Center of Richmond, in conjunction with the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, Plaza Art Materials, and Blick Art Supplies, has recognized six regional educators who help support their students in creating artwork and written work, and support them in submitting to the awards. RCHS's art teacher, Nina Ford, is the only teacher in Richmond Public Schools to receive the Blick Outstanding Regional Educator Award. A ceremony is scheduled for February 15.
