School Application Update Engagement Goals
RPS is excited to hear from you about how we can further improve our selective school application processes to promote greater access and opportunity for all students. To that end, our goals for this process are as follows:
- Community members receive timely and up-to-date information on potential updates to school application and selection processes.
- Community members understand the proposed changes to school application and selection processes and how they may impact their children.
- Community members know how to share their opinions and ideas with the School Board and RPS.
- Key community partners and leaders are engaged to encourage community participation.

School Application Update Meeting Schedule
The RPS enrollment team is excited to host Town Hall events this spring and summer. Dates for these in-person engagement events will be posted on this page as they are finalized. Materials from presentations will be available in PDF form after each event concludes.
- Town Hall 1 - Thursday, June 1st 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Albert V. Norrell Elementary School (2120 Fendall Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222)
