  • The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! We are thrilled to officially launch our brand-new, streamlined application dashboard, your new central hub designed to make your daily workflow smoother, faster, and more connected than ever before.

Moving forward, this dashboard will be your direct gateway to PowerSchool SIS and/or PowerTeacher Pro. No more hunting for links or managing multiple bookmarks. With just one click from your new dashboard, you will have instant, secure access to all the student information and administrative tools you need.

    How to Get Started:

    1. Navigate to the Dashboard: Go to the RPS Application Dashboard

    2. Log In: Use the same login credentials you use to log in to your RPS computer (e.g., jsmith7@rvaschools.net would enter jsmith7 as the username and the password you use to log in to your computer).

    3. Launch PowerSchool Admin or PowerTeacher Pro: Central Office and school-based staff (non-teaching staff): navigate to the PowerSchool Admin icon; Teachers: navigate to the PowerTeacher icon.

    4. Log In to PowerSchool Admin or PowerTeacher Pro: Username - will be the same handle as your email; Password - email handle (First letter capitalized) followed by $$$ and your birthdate ( i.e. Jsmith7$$$062578).

    5. Create a Password: After entering your temporary password, you will be prompted to enter a permanent password.

We want to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible for everyone. Anyone who needs help accessing their account should contact the RPS Service Desk at (804) 780-7880 or via email at servicedesk@rvaschools.net.

Want to Learn How to Navigate PowerSchool SIS?

If you want to catch up on how to perform different tasks within PowerSchool Admin or PowerTeacher Pro, you can head right over to PD+ for convenient, asynchronous learning that fits your schedule.

Note: If you need help accessing your PD+ account, email Ebony Davis at ehill@rvaschools.net.

  • All non-emergency service requests must be submitted through this system. Requests by phone, fax, email, or mail are no longer accepted. For an emergency request, please call 780-6112.
