Operations Management ensures all buildings are safe, functional, and ready for students 

Operations Management works to protect the Division’s students, staff, property, and financial resources by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risk — whether that’s preventing minor injuries to ensuring our insurance coverage is up to date. Additionally, they manage the process and contractors for new school construction. The team ensures the Division operates safely and efficiently by reducing financial losses, preventing injuries, supporting employee recovery, and navigating insurance claims. 

The team works proactively to create a culture of safety, accountability, and preparedness. The Department works to foster trust, strengthen educational continuity, protect resources, and create a secure environment where students and staff can thrive.

The Operations Management Department is responsible for:

• Property, liability, and workers compensation insurance
• Workplace safety, including incident claims and staff training 
• Supporting emergency preparedness, crisis response, and risk mitigation 
• School construction
