Graphic with the words 'RPS On the Rise' and 'Impact Statements'.

1

We increased our K-2 Reading scores an additional 3 percentage points above pre-pandemic levels.

2

In 2025, RPS improved in all four subjects and outpaced statewide gains in reading, math, and science, with our English Learners outperforming the state in gains.

3

We increased our graduation rates an additional 5 percentage points, while also seeing historic gains for our Black, Economical Disadvantaged Students, and Multilingual Learners.

4

All RPS schools met 100% of accreditation standards for SY 2026–27.

These are big goals, but we are reaching them! RPS is undeniably on the rise. From early-literacy rates well ahead of our pre-pandemic levels to chronic absenteeism rates falling faster than major divisions around the country, on nearly every indicator, RPS is improving faster than peer districts.

RPS Mission

Our mission is simple, high, and clear: We want every RPS student to graduate with the tools and knowledge to live a life of their own determination. We’re guided by our strategic plan, and remain laser focused on our three goals:

100%

of students reading joyfully and proficiently by third grade

ALL

students graduating on the path to a choice-filled life

0
