The Curriculum & Instruction Department supports schools PK-12 by designing and implementing rigorous, standards-aligned curricula that foster equitable, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences for all students. Through the strategic use of state and district assessments, we monitor academic progress and identify targeted supports to ensure every learner reaches their full potential.
Additionally, the department empowers educators through high-quality professional learning grounded in research-based practices. By equipping teachers with innovative tools, strategies, and ongoing support, we strengthen instructional excellence and classroom impact. In alignment with the RPS strategic vision, we collaborate with school leaders, teachers, families, and community partners to provide a seamless and transformative educational experience. Together, we are preparing every student to thrive in school, career, and life.
