RPS Brand Guidelines

Using the RPS Brand

The Richmond Public Schools (RPS) brand represents our schools, students, families, staff, and community. Consistent use of our visual identity helps ensure that communications from RPS are clear, recognizable, and connected across every platform.

This guide provides approved standards and resources for vendors, contractors, community partners, and other organizations creating materials on behalf of or in partnership with RPS.

Whether you are developing a flyer, website, presentation, social media graphic, publication, advertisement, or other communication, please use the guidelines and resources provided here to ensure your work accurately represents Richmond Public Schools.
The RPS brand is more than a logo. It encompasses our visual identity, including our logos, colors, typography, photography, and other design elements.

Using RPS Logos

RPS logos are official marks of Richmond Public Schools and should be used only in accordance with the standards outlined in this guide.

When creating materials that represent RPS:

  • Use only approved, official logo files.
  • Do not alter, stretch, distort, recolor, or otherwise modify logos.
  • Maintain adequate clear space around all logos.
  • Use the appropriate logo for the application and background.
  • Do not recreate logos or use low-resolution versions when an approved file is available.
  • Do not combine RPS logos with other marks in a way that changes their appearance or implies an affiliation that does not exist.

For professional printing and other high-quality applications, use the provided vector-enabled files whenever possible

Use supporting fonts to add variety and personality while complementing the primary fonts. They work best for secondary headlines, accents, and special use cases. These fonts are also available for use in ParentSquare templates.
