Bullying Prevention Toolkit
October is recognized nationally as Anti-Bullying Month. Throughout the month, RPS schools are encouraged to participate in activities that promote kindness, help students understand the difference between being an upstander and a bystander, and create opportunities to stand up against bullying behavior.
This toolkit provides resources and activities for students, families and staff to support a schoolwide anti-bullying mindset.
Our Goals
The Anti-Bullying Toolkit aims to:
-
Make anti-bullying efforts applicable to students, families and staff.
-
Reinforce the importance of kindness, speaking up when you see something and being an upstander rather than a bystander.
-
Encourage students and families to denounce bullying when they see it.
