Did You Move to a Different RPS School Zone?
If your student is currently enrolled in RPS and you’ve moved to a new RPS zone, please provide two proofs of residency to either your new school or your previous school so records can be transferred.

Out-of-zone, Selective Admission Schools, Programs, and Governor’s Schools Applications
Students can apply for admission to out-of-zone schools through our annual open enrollment processes. The application period for out-of-zone, selective admission schools and regional governor's schools for the 2025-26 school year is now closed.

Preschool Application

Free for eligible children who turn 3 or 4 by September 30, 2025.
RPS Preschool offers the Head Start and Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) programs to build early skills and prepare children for kindergarten success.
