Advocacy & Outreach
We believe change is possible and largely within our control!
The Department of Advocacy and Outreach provides the tools and resources necessary to engage our community in being part of that change. Our department is responsible for embedding and amplifying a culture of advocacy within RPS by informing our communities, empowering advocates, and sharing the stories of our students, staff, and families.
RPS Advocacy Priorities
RPS advocates for policy change, resources and investments needed to ensure the success of our students, staff, and schools. Advocacy for our community now, is advocacy for a better future.
Advocacy Toolkit
Becoming an advocate for public education may seem overwhelming at first glance. Check out our advocacy toolkit to get informed and learn about how you can use your voice to become an advocate!
Voting matters! When we vote, it allows us to unite and reclaim our power: we can speak for those who have been silenced, made to feel invisible, and are targeted by systemic oppression. It’s important to vote in every election and we commend you for taking this first step!
