Calling all young artists!! Parents & Guardians, Richmond Fire Department is preparing for Fire Prevention Week in October, and we want to see the world through the eyes of your artists, by showing us what fire prevention means to them!

• Artwork Contest Theme: “What Does Fire Prevention Mean to Me?”
• Who can enter: Kids ages 4-14
• Contest runs: September 18-October 7

Draw it, paint it, color it, glue stuff to it. Parents or guardians should submit a photo of the artwork via DM on Instagram, by emailing fire@rva.gov, or by mail to 1904 N. Hamilton St, Richmond, VA 23230. Be sure to include the artist’s name, age, and a title for the piece.

RFD will choose five pieces to hang in fire stations across the city, and those five artists will be invited for a special visit to a fire station!
