Program Description

Spanish/English two-way dual language programs currently exist at Broad Rock Elementary in grades K through 3 and G.H. Reid Elementary in Kindergarten. The dual language classroom strives to enroll both native Spanish speakers and native English speakers in a 50:50 ratio. The instructional day is split evenly between English and Spanish instruction, taught by two highly trained teachers.

The RPS Dual Language Program is committed to fostering multicultural learning and developing students who are bilingual and biliterate, who exceed grade-level academic standards, and who are engaged in sociocultural competency to become productive, compassionate, and involved citizens within their communities.
