Secondary Pathways
The Dreams4RPS Strategic Plan calls for every RPS scholar to graduate high school with a postsecondary plan and prepared to pursue their plan successfully.
Our foremost goal is to ensure every student crosses the stage on graduation day with ambitious future goals in heart, a high school diploma in hand, and a solid postsecondary plan in mind. We strive to help students access opportunities for 4 and 2-year colleges and universities, trade, technical, and vocational schools, military enlistment, and workforce opportunities that will yield high-wage, life-enriching careers.
At the heart of Secondary Success Pathways are five dynamic teams - Alternative Education, Adult Education, Career & Technical Education, College & Career Pathways, and Out-of-School Time Programs - working in sync to help students cross the graduation stage on time. Our collective mission is to open doors to college, careers, and lifelong opportunities beyond the diploma.

Diploma in Hand. Destiny in Motion.
Through Secondary Success Pathways, we walk alongside students from every angle - whether it's enrolling in a nontraditional diploma pathway, earning industry credentials for trade careers, completing college courses during high school, and more. Our teams remove barriers, create opportunities, and ensure every graduate is prepared not just to cross the stage, but to step confidently into college, career, or service with a future that is truly their own.

Alternative Education Pathways
“Where second chances spark new beginnings.”
RPS offers a robust menu of nontraditional diploma pathways, including programs for multilingual learners and over-age students.
Career and Technical Education
“Where hands-on learning meets real-world careers.”
Our Career & Technical Education programs give students the skills, certifications, and experiences that lead directly to college and career success.
College and Career Pathways
“Where planning today creates possibilities tomorrow.”
It’s not just about the tassel; it’s about the path beyond it, with a team of guides who keep us future-ready:
Out-of-School Time Programs
“Where the school day ends, but the learning lives on.”
Out-of-School Time (OST) programs extend learning beyond the school day. Through the Middle School Alliance and 21st CCLC grant-funded programs, students grow, lead, and prepare for the future.
