SEED
Richmond Public Schools’ SEED (Supporting and Empowering Educator Development) program helps aspiring educators and current employees become licensed teachers through accessible, affordable pathways into the profession. Led by the Department of Teacher and Leader Pathways, SEED connects participants with university and preparation partners, licensure guidance, coursework, test preparation, and ongoing support. Pathways serve individuals at different stages of their education and careers, including employees completing a bachelor’s degree and provisional teachers working toward full licensure.
By investing in talent within our schools and community, SEED strengthens our teacher workforce, reduces financial barriers, and helps ensure every RPS student learns from a skilled and supported teacher. To learn more, contact teacherleaderpathways@rvaschools.net
